379. "Engineer's Syndrome" - Tyler Evans

Recognizing the need to hold himself accountable, Tyler Evans created The Citizens Firemen social media page. He found himself becoming complacent, "Engineer's Syndrome" and he knew that he wanted more out of the fire service. Selfishly, the creation of TCF is his way of staying focused and committed. Tyler talks about becoming a product of your environment and how it takes a village to effect positive change within an organization. His social media page led to a podcast in which he has interviewed many big names across the American fire service. Tyler's commitment remains steadfast while his passion is stronger than ever. Taking the positive of the job, he and a bunch of his comrades are beginning to host training events in areas where many firefighters don't have the ability to attend external training. Tyler knows what it takes to make a positive impact and he pushes himself to continue the mission of The Citizens Firemen.
