Fifty years after the publication of The Americans, French filmmaker Philippe S�clier retraced Robert Frank's journey through the United States in 1955 and 1956. Working with only a small digital camera, S�clier explores the legacy of the 1950s and the impact of the book on photography and culture in this 15,000-mile odyssey through present-day America.
