Delighted to announce the next guest 🙌   Beatrice Freeman   Story Title : "Different And Highly Valuable - The Autism Spectrum"     Beatrice's shares her own experience and own conclusions and advice how to work with us. The autism spectrum hasn't got a clearly defined picture; you could say the the common denominator is that there isn't a common denominator. This is because all of us have done a different amount of work to overcome the challenges, with a different rate of success, and started at a different point, with with different sensitivity and intelligence.  You could say that the autism spectrum is characterised by higher than average IQ and higher than average sensitivity, which makes fitting in extremely difficult. WHich is extremely sad, because we have so much to give but it seems that people are afraid to let us in. I would lke to explain what the world looks like from our perspective and which traits are highly valuable to any employer. I want to encourage everyone to learn to identify what triggers problems (and then in our minds grows to unsurpassable obstacles and panic) - and how easy it is to avoid them. It really is down just to a few things and the rewards of tapping into what we offer are immense. We are rarely welcome and the fact of being welcome makes us happier than you think. Loyalty is one of the features, once we find something that actually works for us, we want to keep it, we want to give to you. It's very easy yet shrouded in a veil of mystery.   We are not "ticking bombs" because of the high IQ and high sensitivity, we are not bombs at all, we just want to give and to belong.  Beatrice's story is truly incredible and one not to miss.     My aim with Neurodiversity Stories is to educate, inspire and motivate people to see a different side to Neurodiversty 💙     Please like , share and subscribe for more podcasts  🙌     If you would like to appear on one of my Neurodiversity Stories then please contact me on: [email protected]     Also follow us on:  Instagram Neurodiversity_stories     LinkedIn @neurodiversity Stories    Facebook @ neurodiversity Stories   Delighted to be working with our new sponsor for our Neurodiversity Stories 🎧     Scanning Pens 🙌   Scanning Pens story is simple: they were created to empower people of all ages, backgrounds and learning abilities with the tools they need to succeed in the classroom – and in the real world.    With offices in the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, India and Australia, they hope to increase the confidence and independence of learners around the world with their text-to-speech scanning devices.    For more information please check out their website: www.scanningpens.co.uk     Thank you Scanning Pens for your support and look forward to working with you on Neurodiversity Stories 📚    Neurodiversity Stories was hosted by Darren Clark who is a Dyslexia Influencer and Award Winning Entrepreneur who is Changing perceptions for Neurodiversity globally through speaking, training and consulting and Making Organisations and schools fully SpLD Inclusive and trailblazing awareness  For more information please click on the link: www.globalspldconsultant.com     I hope you enjoy our stories and please subscribe to see more.
