Defence psychiatrist supports insanity claims in Lauren Dickason trial

The Defence in the trial of Lauren Dickason, has called another of its own forensic psychiatrists today. Justin Barry-Walsh has supported claims Dickason’s depression was a result of giving birth and that she was suffering a mental disorder at the time of the killings. 43 year old Lauren Dickason denies murdering her three daughters in Timaru. She has pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity and infanticide.
