Embracing a Season of Home

"The task of building our homes into places of beauty & life that will feed the hears, souls, and minds of our children is the most comprehensive task to which God has called us as mothers." -Sally Clarkson   As we kick off a new year, we are going to focus on the word simplify for a few episodes on the podcast. Most of us are recovering from a busy holiday season and seeking to establish new rhythms and routines for a fresh year. This episode encourages you to give yourself freedom to embrace slow- embrace a season of home- if that is what your life calls for. That is the season that I am currenly in. Nurturing a lot of little children, homeschooling, homemaking, ministry- these are the focus of my life right now. I am finding that to be effective in these areas, I need to embrace a season where outside commitments are limited, and my efforts are put into the home God has given me. Seasons come and go, and my life won't always look like it does right now.
