Hymns for the Heart: It Is Well

Whaterver my lot, Thou hast taught me to say, It is well, it is well with my soul. Years ago I heard the story behind the writing of this hymn. Having my eyes opened to the heartbreaking circumstances that led to the writing of this beautiful hymn would change me. I realized that there is rich depth to the hymns we sing in worship. This changed how I worshipped the Lord through song.
