City set club record and go top of the table! | Watford 1-3 City

A 3-1 win at Watford on Saturday – our seventh victory in a row in all competitions – saw us go top of the Premier League for the first time this season after Chelsea’s defeat earlier in the day. Raheem Sterling headed home the opener and a Bernardo Silva double put us 3-0 up, before Cucho Hernandez’s late goal reduced the deficit. A new club record was set. It was our 31st win of the calendar year, surpassing our previous record of 30, which we managed in both 2017 and 2019.
