Full House: S4E22: Stephanie Plays The Field (Tanner Girls In Love Series)

Hey Full House Fans, Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. Today, I'm covering the next episode in the Tanner Girls In Love Series with Full House S4E22: Stephanie Plays The Field, which aired on March 8, 1991. In this episode Stephanie joins a little league baseball team to be near a boy she likes. This is also the last appearance of the character Rusty. Sean Fox plays Brent (Stephanie's crush) who you may recognize from the movie 3 Ninjas Kick Back the sequel to the movie 3 Ninjas, he played Rocky. I had a crush on him in the mid 90's. He comes off as a sweet boy but he has ulterior motives after Stephanie joins the little league baseball team he'll be playing against opening day. He was full on manipulative, writing her initials on his date and asking her to be his girlfriend and then just before he leaves asks her to throw him a few easy pitches, luckily Stephanie catches on that that would be cheating but Brent explains or it could just be a girlfriend helping a boyfriend. Uh, no. It's cheating, no matter how you word it. Jesse and Becky are now living in their new attic apartment and are happy to spend some quality time together, however Michelle views Jesse living under the same roof as 24/7 uncle/niece playtime for them. She knows no boundaries. Luckily Jesse and Becky set her straight on appropriate hang out times. Let's get to the game. We have someone in a bad wig who pitches as Stephanie, Jesse runs out on to the field to have it out with an umpire he felt made a bad call, luckily Danny corrects him, "Jess, I was standing right there, she was out". To which Jesse replies "Why don't you get us better seats, I can't see anything from up there" I like how Becky tries to pacify Jesse telling him if he is a good boy and stays in his seat she'll buy him a snow cone, to which he replies "I like cherry" as he glares over his shoulder at the umpire. Joey who's the announcer of the game abuses his free snack privilege's at the concession stand. Towards the end of the game he asks for a hot dog and then as guy puts the hotdog on the table he asks for nachos. I'm like "Joey forget the nachos, eat the hot dog. It's just sitting there getting cold and forgotten. I love how the concessions guy just shakes his head at Joey when Joey tells him "just bring me whatever's left." This was such a fun episode. I hope you all enjoy it. Join me next week for the final episode in the Tanner Girls In Love Series, Full House S6E5: Lovers and Other Tanners, which aired on October 20, 1992. Have a good weekend and please stay safe and use precautions. To EMAIL the Podcast Go To: [email protected]
