Monday Market Highlights - 19 February

In this week’s Monday Market Highlights, Dealer Brendan Larsen covers the US CPI which came in above market expectations. He discusses the core services and supercore index, goods deflation and the stickiness of services inflation, along with producer price index data. Brendan looks into data out of the UK, including private sector wage growth which decelerated to 6.2%, CPI data which was more encouraging, and GDP data, which showed the UK was in a technical recession in the second half of 2023.
