A Marxist geographer whose research and teaching focuses on the Gramscian notions of hegemony and common sense, and their connections to social justice and progressive social change.Professor Waterstone also co-authored the book 'Consequences of Capitalism: Manufacturing Discontent and Resistance' with Prof. Noam Chomsky.
