Out of Bounds with Bo Bounds - A podcast by Bo Bounds

Former Mississippi state basketball player Shane Power joins the show on the Farm Bureau guest line talking about the state of Bulldog hoops now live in the BankPlus Studio. Shane talks about how the offensive schemes needs tog et the defense moving and how the play doesn't develop like it should a lot of the time. Shane breaks down the guard play for MSU and how they are shorter than most but still try to drive and finish over giant players. Shane thinks the offensive scheme can be corrected but there has to be an "X-factor" off the bench. Shane talks about how Cam Matthews is one of his favorite players but he needs to continue to be active with his movement on the court. Shane tells Bo what he learned from former coach Rick Stansbury and how practices are probably going for the team right now. Shane talks about how Chris Jans is a great defensive coach but he needs an offensive coordinator to help run the floor. Bo asks Shane about his favorite player in the SEC right now and he talks about a talented rising star out of Tennessee. Shane looks at MSU's next four game stretch and thinks the team has to at least go 3 and 1 in order to make the tournament. Shane thinks the March 6th game against Texas A&M will be a big pivot game for the team.
