We discuss Disney trying to screw noted author Alan Dean Foster out of royalties for the various Star Wars and Alien novels he wrote under license to Fox in the 1980s and 1990s, much to Jordana’s consternation. Probably because she doesn’t care about the rights of artists or something. As regards the book this podcast is nominally about, we discuss how elegantly Rothfuss doles out Sim’s backstory and how it colours his character. We ponder his reasons for being at the university, and whether he’s truly happy.
