In April consumer confidence fell back to the lows of 2022, according to China’s National Bureau of Statistics, which promptly stopped releasing the figure.The Chinese government, facing an expected seventh consecutive monthly increase in youth unemployment, two weeks ago announced that it was suspending the release of that data.
