Schools Need to Prioritize Connection Not Curriculum

Peace and Parenting: How to Parent without Punishments - A podcast by Michelle Kenney, M. Ed

The impact of standardized testing on the learning experience is quite significant. Teachers are under an immense amount of pressure to produce results since funding is often linked to test scores. This puts them in a difficult spot, as they strive to educate their students while also trying to achieve good grades on tests. Our education system is mainly focused on performance, but this approach may not be the most effective way to promote learning. If we prioritize building relationships and fostering connections, we may be able to give our students a better chance at academic success.Enjoy today’s episode?
