Luton’s Premier League adventure is nearly upon us and Dan Ashby joins James to kick off Correspondent Week Day 3 and discuss The Hatters, their prospects of survival and the enablers who should appeal to FPL managers. There’s 4.0 defenders, a starting 4.5 midfielder and even potential in 5.0 and 4.5 forwards, but with a Blank in Gameweek 2 it means picking more than one could bring trouble. So who’s best? Is it the well owned Amari’I Bell? Is new loan signing Issa Kabore assured of starts? Can Marvelous Nakamba offer anything more than starting points? There’s discussion on the likely first choice line-up, why there’s confusion on who may be on penalties, issues in trying to buy a new goalkeeper and where further investment in the squad may be required, But Luton are working on a shoestring financially in comparison to other Premier League clubs and that’s why finishing above the relegation zone would bea miraculous achievement… but don’t rule them out.
