Bryan, Rachel, Jeff, Cindy, Martin and Kyle discuss Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah (1991) This month, we turn our gaze to the future! Or the futurians, to be a bit more precise? The focus of this month’s Daikaiju Discussion is the 1991 special effects extravaganza from Toho Studios, Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah. It was a full house here in Kaijucast HQ; Kyle was joined by Martin, Jeff, Cindy, Bryan and Rachel. It’s awesome that they took part because we received a lot of homework. Apparently a lot of G-fans really …and I mean really love this film! The film discussion alone was enough to fill a standard hour long (do we even do that anymore?) episode, but we had a massive news month, too – with several big events happening and information dropped. Earlier in February, a convention called Winter Wonder Festival took place in Tokyo. Joining us to share his awesome report directly from the land of the rising sun, our special on-the-scene/over-the-seas reporter Brandon Elijah Garza (Tokyo Toy Fiend) pops in with the low down on the kaiju releases at the show. Additionally Toy Fair, held on the 14-17th in New York, had a lot in store for kaiju enthusiasts too. Make sure to check out all of the links in the show notes; there are some really great things happening out there. MUSIC FIT FOR MONSTER ZERO: 1. We look forward to seeing what you thought of the film!
