Gratitude is something we need to remember to practice to center us and bring us back to peace especially during troubled times. Writing, thinking or saying why you are grateful out loud daily helps us recognize that there are many things we can be grateful for, that we often forget about. Most often the things or people we take for granted are the very things that shake us to the core once taken away, and these are the very areas we need to look and find gratitude; for we have gotten so accustomed to their pretense in our life, we forget to acknowledge them.
