Charles, 58 at the time, started a chat with a decoy he thought was a 13-year-old girl. He discussed masturbation, bondage, and sex with the decoy. Before travelling to the sting house, Charles went to a doctor for Viagra so that he could "perform like a young man." He arrives at the sting house in a car that he built from a kit. When he is greeted by the decoy, he offers to take her for a ride. After he is confronted by Chris, Charles bolts out of the house and into the custody of the police.
