Small Change: The New World of Crowdfunded Real Estate Investments

I first learned about Small Change through a Facebook ad that grabbed my attention. As a preservationist, I wondered, is there a way to take this concept and deploy it to save historic places? Given the challenges of fundraising, which I know all too well as a nonprofit executive, I’m always looking for new innovations – especially around property redevelopment. My hope is that today’s conversation sparks a dialogue about this concept and how preservationists might embrace crowdfunding investing as a way to save places that matter.
