Nick tries to come out to his rugby friends but is constantly interrupted by Harry. Recognising his stress, Charlie suggests that Nick forget about coming out first. After doing some research on how to impress a crush, Tao asks Elle out and she accepts. After a failed date, Tao is jealous over Elle getting closer with her new friends from Lambert, then blames himself for seemingly ruining every situation. About Heartstopper: Heartstopper is a British coming-of-age romantic comedy-drama television series on Netflix, written and created by Alice Oseman and based on her webcomic and graphic novel of the same name. The series primarily tells the story of Charlie Spring (Joe Locke), a gay schoolboy who falls in love with classmate Nick Nelson (Kit Connor), whom he sits next to in his new form.
