Scott Levin, MD, FACS, FAOA is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery, and a Professor in the Division of Plastic Surgery, and Vice President and Associate Dean for Resource Development at Penn Medicine in Philadelphia. Dr. Levin heads the Hand transplantation program and Vascularized Composite Allotransplantation Program at Penn and directed the teams that have performed 4 bilateral hand and arm transplants.  He was the Board of Regents Chair and served as the Orthopedic Regent of the American College of Surgeons, a past president of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, the world society of reconstructive microsurgery, the American society for reconstructive microsurgery, and the American society of reconstructive transplantation.
