The Rolling Stones were at a transitional point in their career. The band had abandoned Psychedelic music and returned to the blues rock influence that fueled their early style. Keith Ricards came up with inventive guitar riffs and Mick Jagger found a more passionate vocal style that could be sneering, angry and resigned. The Stones entered a new phase in their careers.
