We are so excited to begin this new format with you. This year on the second Sunday of each month we will be following the Tarot through a discussion of common Archetypes while using legends, sacred stories, and fairy tales to explain and discuss the archetype. Because Tarot begins with the Fool Card, this week we will be discussing The Trickster Archetype. This archetype is recognized as the rule breaker. They can be cunning or foolish or both. The Trickster loves to play jokes on others. Modern day examples of the Trickster Archetype are Bugs Bunny, The Little Tramp (Charlie Chaplin), Woody Woodpecker, or Captain Jack Sparrow. In mythology, the Trickster is represented as Loki or Hermes. As an animal, the fox and coyote are seen as tricksters. In fairy tales, the Trickster is represented as Puss from Puss And Boots and Rumplestiltskin as examples. We are each the hero of our own journey and we attract archetypes to us in order to test us, teach us, and help grow our soul. Samantha and Deb will help you discover who's the Trickster in your life and what role are they playing in your journey?
