Alma’s passion for sports can be traced back to her school yard days.  She’s been a sports aficionado from the start and now she’s made a career of it. As a marketer with over 15 years of experience in the areas of sport, entertainment and culture, she has mastered the in’s and out’s of commercial revenue growth.  She’s honed and executed these specialties to reach her current role as Vice President of Partnerships for the NBA’s Charlotte Hornets. To date, one of the more prominent Latina women on the NBA’s business side (currently the only to hold such a title league wide). Her path to today has been a fun and decorated one. She has led global teams, her work has broken two Guinness World Records, won a Telly Award, negotiated countless groundbreaking deals with Fortune 100 brands, secured one of the largest WNBA jersey sponsorships at the time and had the high honor of servicing as a liaison for the Mexican National Soccer Team within the U.S. commercial space.
