Amy Irvin is this week’s revolutionary. Amy is the Executive Director of the New Orleans Abortion Fund. She struggled financially growing up with her mother and into her early 20s, working to put herself through school. Amy talks to us about her experiences in college: how she felt free in the world of academia, enjoyed learning and took time off realign and travel, as well as her own personal experiences with abortion.Amy found her way to New Orleans, by way of Turkey, and experienced first hand how limited access to abortion resources was in the city, and the state of Louisiana .
