California Governor files emergency motion in federal court over ICE raids

California Governor Gavin Newsom has filed an emergency motion in federal court to block National Guard members and Marines from assisting with immigration raids in Los Angeles. The move comes after US President Donald Trump ordered the deployment of roughly 4,000 National Guard members and 700 Marines to the city, following four days of protests.
