Clash over childcare changes

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese says the government's planned changes to child care will deliver the basis of a world class early education system, opening another major battleground ahead of next year's federal election. But the Coalition has been quick to signal its opposition, warning the plan would increase demand on an already strained sector.
