New civil society watchdog launches investigation into Elon Musk's efficiency agency

With less than a month before Donald Trump takes office, a newly established non-government watchdog has launched its own investigation into Elon Musk's so-called 'government efficiencies' agency.      The State Democracy Defenders Fund was founded by Norm Eisen, a former ethics chief in the Obama White House, as part of what he says is a mission to safeguard democracy under the Trump administration.
