New treatment offers hope for Aussies with endometriosis

Advocates are celebrating the listing of endometriosis treatment Visane, also known by the generic name dienogest, on Australia's Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme. The listing will more than halve the annual cost of the daily tablets from $800 to $380, or around $90 for pension and concession card holders.
