Russia's Foreign Ministry says the Kremlin is ready for "serious" talks with Ukraine, despite President Vladimir Putin being a no-show for peace talks in Istanbul. It was Mr Putin who proposed direct talks with Ukraine, after the United States urged both countries last weekend to a 30-day ceasefire. Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says he's sending a team headed by his defence minister to the talks. and has described the Russian delegation as decorative.
