Rebel-backed leader takes charge as Syria's interim prime minister

The shock overthrow of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has left regional leaders and world powers nervous about who and what comes next, as Syria's rebel forces take their first steps towards establishing a new government.  Rebel leader Mohammed al-Bashir made a television address to announce he will stay in the post until March, to lead the transition government.
