Alan Parks is a writer, who has, to date, published four highly-acclaimed crime novels set in Glasgow in the 1970s and featuring Detective Harry McCoy - Bloody January, February's Son, Bobby March Will Live Forever and, most recently in March 2021, The April Dead. He had previously worked in the music industry for over 20 years, initially with a music management company before joining London Records where he commissioned music videos, artwork and photography.
