Paul Lyons, railway historian

Paul Lyons has enjoyed a varied career that has taken him from Ministry of Defence police officer, investment broker and manager of both Euston and Kings Cross Railway stations in London. On returning to Scotland, he worked in train planning, writing the Scottish timetable one year, while he has also been the duty manager at Glasgow Central Station, and also the Central announcer. In recent years, he has become the historian at Central Station, and has established a tour of the station that has been the No.1 thing to do in Glasgow for a number of years. Hosted on Acast.
