Welcome to the first episode of Season 2 of Real Talk, Real Muslims! We are so excited for this season and all the exciting upcoming episodes and plans.  We are starting the new season & new year by delving into important topics that we can implement throughout this year to help us improve our relationships, overall well-being, and vibes for this year.  In this episode, we talked to Dr. Nahla (@imdoctornahla) who is an aspiring psychiatrist, mental health advocate, and an overall amazing person who is really making an impact in our community by shedding light on stigmas surrounding mental health & various taboo topics. Through her social media platforms, Dr. Nahla encourages others to seek the care that they need in order to improve their overall wellness.  We spoke about an array of topics in this episode- from red flags to look out for in relationships (whether romantic ones or not), to toxic friendships, to the importance of boundary setting, and finally, the journey to true self-love without all the social media cliches.
