Kirk's movie career spanned six decades. He was best knowh for Spartacus (1960), Lonely Are the Brave (1962), and Seven Days in May (1964). He is on the American Film Institute's list of the greatest male screen legends of classic Hollywood cinema. Kirk Douglas died in February 2020 at the age of 103.
