Knights Of The Turntable - Dick Biondi

Red Robinson's Legends - A podcast by Red Robinson

It's the end of an era in Chicago as radio giant Dick Biondi and WLS-FM part ways. Chicago is going to miss him. He was a major radio performer, a great deejay and a solid human being. The airwaves are losing a legend. What a career! From WKBW/Buffalo in 1958, WLS in 1960 and KRLA/Los Angeles in 1964-65... all the way to his return to Chicago in 1984 to WMJK and back to WLS-FM in 2006. Dick and I were elected to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame together in 1994 as pioneer deejays. We got to know each other in 2002 in Memphis during Elvis Week where he broadcast from the grounds of Graceland. Enjoy this previously unreleased Dick Biondi interview, from a project called Knights Of The Turntable.
