The Goon Show - Fireball of Milton street

The plot revolves around the little Sussex hamlet of Milton Street, where word spreads among the villagers that the end of the world is at hand. Henry Crun, the village alchemist, sees a strange phenomenon through his telescope. On the night of January 11, 1801, the Long Man of Wilmington disappears, and darkness completely envelops East Milton for more than 50 hours.
