I didnt think saying "not everyone with joint pain needs an xray" was going to be my controversial opinion when I think Tea is the worst drink ever invented but here we are...The NICE guidance says "Our guideline on osteoarthritis recommends that adults aged 45 or over should be diagnosed with osteoarthritis clinically without investigations if they have activity-related joint pain and either no morning joint-related stiffness or morning stiffness that lasts no longer than 30 minutes" This is a public episode.
