Welcome to episode 6 of the rightly dividing the word of truth podcast.  Greetings, I'm your host, Dr. Paul Felter. In this podcast series we put to practice the apostle Paul's command in 2nd Timothy 2:15Study to show thyself approved of God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.Only through right division will you properly understand the Bible, the Body of Christ; our purpose, our destiny and our uniqueness in all of Scripture.In this episode I’ll discuss the first three chapters of the book of Revelation.  Chapters 2 and 3 of the book of Revelation contain the 7 letters to the 7 churches.  Most commentators and commentaries will state that these 7 letters are to us, the church, the body of Christ and they try to apply the instructions in those 7 letters to us today.  But were those 7 letters written to us, the body of Christ, or to Israel? As we study these books, the answer will become obvious.  We just need to let the Bible speak for itself.Again, in episode 4 we read in Galatians Ch. 2:6-9 that Peter, James and John are apostles to Israel.  Israel is their intended audience of their ministry and their writings.  That applies to the book of Revelation as well. BreadofLife.media
