There is no excuse acceptable to God for unbelief. Paul then introduces the notion of hypocrisy into the discussion.  Also, keep in mind that Paul is addressing Jews and proselytes who are under the law of Moses and believe that Jesus is the Messiah to Israel.  Paul is not speaking to Christians as we will see as we progress through the chapter...BreadofLife.media
