Welcome to Roadcase, a podcast exploring the live music experience!!  Come on aboard for this episode with the supremely talented Kate Stables who joined us from Paris, France to talk about This Is The Kit's latest album, Off Off On, a gorgeous album which she wrote while on the road with The National.  Kate is a unique and captivating artist as well as an engaging conversationalist and she chats with Josh about what it's like to hang with The National and perform side-by-side with lead vocalist Matt Berninger during the I Am Easy to Find 2019 tour -- as she and Josh reminisce about many of those shows.  Kate's musical background is both deep and multi-faceted and she has worked with some tremendously talented producers such as Josh Kaufman, who produced Off Off On, as well as Aaron Dessner who produced Kate's 2014 album, Bashed Out. Kate shares with us her thoughts on her latest work and how many of those songs have been widely interpreted as quarantine songs despite all of them being written pre-Covid.
