On this time we have something pretty cool. Rey Peyton is a longtime friend of the show and we have two stories submitted by him to share. The first is a brand new one titled Hardhats, Hurricanes and Heroes. The second is one that he submitted in 2015 titled Toy Soldiers. Also, we have a brand new These Are Your Stories segment where I take a look at your reactions to past stories. We have a lot on this show so please press that play button and enjoy! Featured Story - Hardhats, Hurricanes, and Heroes This is a true story written, submitted, and lived by a friend to the podcast Ray Peyton. It is his story about his experience when Hurricane Carmen made landfall just east of Vermilion Bay on Sept. 7-8, 1974. Winds at a Bayou Boeuf oil rig topped 110 mph, with gusts to 120 mph. The storm killed three and caused $150 million in damage. This story is read for us by Mark Nelson.
