Dante Disparte is the Executive Vice President of the Diem Association. Dante serves as a member of the executive committee leading public policy, social impact, membership and communications. The Diem payment system is built on blockchain technology to enable the open, instant, and low-cost movement of money. People will be able to send, receive, and spend their money, enabling universal access to financial services. Diem, previously known as Libra, is a permissioned blockchain-based payment system proposed by the American social media company Facebook, Inc.
