Foundational Faith - The Whats and Whys / Part IV - Grace And Faith

Salvation and Stuff - A podcast by Micah Coate

Another reason that sets the Christian faith apart from all others is not only the historical resurrection of Jesus as a substitutionary sacrifice for all people, it is the only religion that is not based upon one’s good works. The Christian faith clearly says that all people were all created for good works but that we are not saved by them. Salvation is procured by our faith in God’s grace through Jesus’ work by his death and resurrection. Another way to say it, is that Jesus’ work is able to save us but can only be appropriated by His grace and our faith in it.
