I thought that was strange, but then I listened to "Naked" on a long drive and actually really enjoyed it. My question is, what movies would work well as audiobooks? 1:43:29 - Q2: What’s the most try-hard performance of all time? Someone who swung for the fences and failed miserably? 1:47:17 - Q3: Since Adam has apparently not seen a lot of movies many consider childhood classics (Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Back to the Future, etc.) in his actual childhood, what are some of the movies you grew up with? 1:51:54 - Q4: Do you think there is snobbery in the cinephile community? What is the best way to curb it? 1:56:07 - Q5: Do you think Synder's impact could actually cheapen the power of the director, considering his auteur-antics (Changing the aspect ratio to 4:3, releasing a cut that is black and white) are just tact-on for no real reason? Since these elements have been used heavily in the advertising of the film, I'm worried that other studios are going to similarly stick on random gimmicks to their movies in post. Films like The Lighthouse or Bait (which actually use the filmmaking techniques of the past to the service of the story) could be totally swamped by random wannabes that are just trying to ape Snyds. Schaffrillas will join the next episode as a guest. His recommendation is Whiplash (2014).
