#161: Living By Grace: Grace in Ministry

Saving Grace - A podcast by Grace School of Theology

Grace in Ministry Is for All because We Are All Called to Serve!   (Guest: Dr. Charlie Bing) All believers, in a sense, are ministers. This is why Grace in ministry is for all. There is no exception between so-called vocation or lay ministers, for we are all called to serve. Such service is possible by the gifts that we each have from God by His grace. Moreover, the Scriptures repeatedly speak of ministry as a gift of grace—a privilege for everyone, for every Christian. Because it is a gift of grace, it should generate in us a spirit of humility and gratitude.   “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms” (1 Peter 4:10).   This declaration provided guidance to early church members on God’s grace in ministry. It taught them how to behave in a way that honors and glorifies God.   So, it is time to rejoice that every one of us enjoys a spiritual, grace-centered gift from God. Let us choose to help others with these talents, a mark of living by His grace. Moreover, let’s not neglect to steward our resources to spread God’s unending love to the rest of the world!   We are Called to Serve!   Be inspired and empowered by God’s grace in ministry by accessing this episode with Dr. Charlie Bing.
