After years of uncertainty, Lebanon has a new President

After more than two years, Lebanon finally has a new president… the country’s Army chief Joseph Aoun. He told parliament he will work to ensure the Lebanese Army will have the exclusive right to carry weapons, an indication of Hezbollah’s weakness following its war with Israel.
