INTERVIEW: SBS speaks to Director-general of ASIO Mike Burgess on foreign interference

In his annual threat assessment, Australia’s intelligence chief said the foreign interference threat "is real, is now, and is deeper and broader than you think". Australia’s multicultural communities are vulnerable to foreign interference, which involves clandestine, coercive, and disruptive operations by foreign actors and their proxies.
