One of the things I love about doing these interviews is I never really know what direction they're going to go on. We don't have them scripted, we don't plan out every question. We just really let the conversation flow. Today's interview with the incredible and connected Amber Vilhauer was one of my favorites because I didn't expect for us to get to the root of what business is all about. Amber has figured out how to build an incredible business that's built on genuine referrals because of how she pours into every single individual that she works with. I came into this interview thinking she was going to be talking about PR strategies and how to pitch yourself and all these other incredible things (which by the way, we do cover in today's episode and it's incredibly tactical and helpful!). But more than anything, she stresses the importance of connection, the importance of making the person you are with feel like they are the only person in your world in that moment, whether it's your child that you're talking to or a potential client. I am so excited to bring Amber on and for you guys to hear from her because this is something that every single entrepreneur needs to hear and understand: The best businesses are built on the back of relationships and deep connection, and Amber is evidence of that.
