She had just gotten her driver’s license two days prior. Once there, the two had dinner and her boyfriend, Doug Holmes, walked her out of the door. The next day, Lisa’s parents phoned her boyfriend at his University of Hawaii dorm to tell him she didn’t come home. Holmes headed out to look for her and it was him who found Lisa’s car abandoned at the shoulder of a highway, near Kailua Drive. He reported the finding to the police.#2 Brasher-Dye DisappearanceIt was March 1956 when brothers, Robert Earl Dye (23) and Billy Howard Dye (19) and their cousin, Dan Brasher (38), headed to a party held at Billy’s girlfriend’s house at Jefferson County, Alabama. The trio went to the party on board Billy’s dark green 1947 Ford. While at the party, the three came across a local moonshine bootlegger who, according to the rumors, the brothers had been stealing from. The party went on but around 2:00 AM, several men from the party left, carrying with them pickaxes and shovels. They piled into two vehicles including Billy’s car. Later on, only one car returned and nobody saw Billy’s vehicle again or the three men.Support the show Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
